I am not quite sure the river in the photos is Sekong or Sesan river. Here are some more photos from Stung Treng.

091022Sekong1I stayed in Stung Treng for five days, but the sky was not favorable enough to grant us a view of neither sunset nor sunrise.

091022Sekong2 Sesan or Sekong?

091022Sekong4 If I am not wrong the bridge built by the Government of China named Sekong Bridge.

Those are beautiful! I love all of them. I like the colors and light of sunset. They are calendar pictures.

    First pic: river of gold

    Second pic: river of silver

    Third pic: river of sweet

Fourth pic: river full of mysterious and yet prosperity (almost the same image to the pic I saw on Cultural Book from IFL where it talks about Khmer History … as to describe daily life of Khmer people living along the river … hahahahaha … isn’t that amazing?)

You have much clearer memory about the books at IFL, as I have no idea about it. ;D. Now the rivers got a very nice and sweet names, hehe.
