Saigon at Night

An unpleasant incident happened to my friends prior to our departure to Saigon forced them to cancel the trip we had planned. That made the trip less thrilled and later I decided to skip the two-day trip to Mekong delta. What’s worse is my wife was snatched in the evening of the last day in Saigon, thought it was an unsuccessful attempt. It worsened her images on Vietnam from her first trip to the country.

Well, let’s talk a bit about what I got from the trip. Tail light from long exposure has been one of my favorite but I did not bring my heavy tripod with me. So our mother earth is only thing I could think of to stabilize my camera. Yet, it turned out that shooting at long-shutter speed with ultra-wide-angle lens from a very low angle perspective is pretty something. Below are a few of those shots I got during my two-day stay in Saigon.

I personally not so much favor for this country, very hard to communicate with people. By the way, I’m so sorry to hear about those incidents..

Thinking back, I am lucky to come back with my camera. I had put my camera on ground from time to time. One day after I took the second photo, my wife was snatched on the very same place.
