Ficus Benghalensis

Ficus benghalensis, Sambo Preikuk

This of one of the Ficus Benghalensis family (ដើម​ជ្រៃ). The interesting part is that it produces roots which grow downwards as aerial roots. Once these roots reach the ground, they grow into trunks. You can find the tree in the picture above at Sambo Preikuk area inside Prasat Tor’s compound.
